The fascist and secular leader SHEIKH HASINA
Sheikh Hasina is the present ruling government in Bangladesh. She is a Bangladeshi politician who has served as the tenth prime minister of Bangladesh from June 1996 to July 2001, and has been in power consecutively since January 2009.She signed the 30-year water-sharing treaty with India governing the Ganges. Her administration repealed the Indemnity Act, which granted immunity from prosecution to the killers of Sheikh Mujib. It is understood that a secure foundation is crucial for economic development. The Padma Bridge is projected to have a positive impact on nearly 30 million individuals in 21 districts in the southwest of Bangladesh and is expected to contribute to a GDP growth of over 1% for the nation.
Nevertheless, the citizens of Bangladesh were assured a digitalized nation by 2021. However, the realization of this digital transformation is still pending. The sharp decline in reserves has led to a significant economic downturn, greatly affecting the population.

In the meantime, the country has experienced numerous challenges and continues to grapple with them. The construction of a new airport and metro rail system in Dhaka has caused significant hardship for the people, leading to increased traffic congestion and a rise in road accidents due to inadequate safety measures. Widespread corruption among government officials has further exacerbated the plight of the middle and lower classes. Additionally, powerful politicians and high-ranking government officers have illicitly transferred billions of dollars to countries such as Canada, the USA, and various European nations, securing their own prosperous futures at the expense of the nation.

As of 2001, corruption in the public sector was "endemic, chronic and all pervasive". In Transparency International's 2023 Corruption Perceptions Index, which scored 180 countries on a scale from 0 ("highly corrupt") to 100 ("very clean"), Bangladesh scored 24. (Source- Wikipedia)
Sheikh Hasina, the Prime Minister, is enabling her associates to engage in corruption in order to continue oppressing the people and seizing all available assets. It is worth noting that her son and daughter are both citizens of the United States and possess billions of dollars. The origin of this wealth is questionable, as they are not particularly prominent business figures. Meanwhile, Bangladesh's reserves have dwindled to just 19 billion.

Our students were not only being deprived of their rights, but the government under Sheikh Hasina's leadership has shown bias towards veterans and freedom fighters' families. By declaring a 53% quota in government jobs for these groups, it is clear discrimination against deserving students. The country is facing challenges with corruption, inflation, and other socio-economic issues, yet the Prime Minister has failed to support the people and instead sent his political party's youth wing, CHHATRO LEAGUE, to suppress protestors. Tragically, a 13-year-old boy lost his life simply for observing a protest. She murdered numerous students while simultaneously causing a nationwide blackout with no communication, ensuring that her heinous deeds went unnoticed by the world.

Bangladesh urgently requires a new, fair leader to address these injustices and corruption.
